General Characteristics
The SICUR BIKE curb is the first curb that meets the guidelines of major European motorcycle associations and the European Commission for two-wheel traffic safety.
The road-side surface, inclined at approximately 45°, eliminates the sharp upper edge.
This allows action on two safety fronts:
1. Prevention of falls (following, for example, the impact of footpegs and cranks against the curb, when cornering or due to sudden swerving of the vehicle toward the road edge);
2. Damage mitigation (to cyclists and motorcyclists in case of body impact against the curb following accidental falls or road accidents)
